We are a feline sanctuary dedicated to rehabilitation, socialization,
and finding loving furrever homes.
Welcome to Whimsical Whiskers CatFae — a feline rescue and rehabilitation sanctuary in Green, Ohio, dedicated to giving cats in need a safe place to heal, socialize, and find loving furrever homes.
Whimsical Whiskers CatFae is not a traditional cat café.
We are a rescue and rehabilitation-focused sanctuary first and foremost, with beverages and light treats occasionally available
to help support the care of our resident cats.
At Whimsical Whiskers, rescue comes first. Every cat in our care has a story, and many arrive needing patience, medical care, emotional healing, or simply a safe environment where they can learn to trust again. Our mission is centered around providing compassionate care, enrichment, rehabilitation, and adoption support for cats from difficult circumstances while educating our community about responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.
Our space was created to be more than a traditional rescue. Visitors are invited to spend time with our resident cats in a calm environment designed to reduce stress and encourage healthy socialization. The connections formed between humans and animals here play an important role in helping our cats grow more comfortable, confident, and adoption-ready.
While visiting, guests can also enjoy a selection of beverages and occasional treats available for purchase, including our Pearl Coffee Co. “Diana” coffee, fresh smeowthies, and kit-teas. Every visit and purchase directly supports the daily care, enrichment, medical needs, and rehabilitation of the cats
who call Whimsical Whiskers home.
Whether you are looking to adopt, volunteer, support rescue efforts, or simply spend meaningful time surrounded by cats,
we welcome you into our community with open arms.

Our 501c3 Non-Profit
Whisper In Time Companion Rehoming is our CatFae’s 501c3 nonprofit arm who’s mission is to provide compassionate rehoming for beloved pets whose owners are entering hospice, assisted living, or nursing home care. We honor the bond between people and their animal companions by ensuring every pet finds a safe, loving home when their person can no longer care for them.

Intake Procedure **Intakes are currently on hold until we surpass 20 additional adoptions**
At Whisper In Time Companion Rehoming, our intake process begins with a surrender inquiry from a family member or representative of an individual transitioning into end of life care or who has passed away.
- We require a completed surrender form and a $150 donation fee to help with the cost of housing, feeding, and any veterinary care that may be necessary while the surrendered animal is with us.
- For any cat over 6 years of age they will need to come with a copy of lab work done within the last year or an additional donation of $100 can be made and we will take care of it for you.
- All intakes also need to be current, with proof, of their FVRCP and Rabies vaccines.
- Each animal is assessed for temperament, health, and adoptability.
- When possible, we gather veterinary records and background information to ensure proper placement.
- Once accepted, a day and time will be scheduled for drop off.

That’s why we offer our Peace of Mind Guarantee: Every surrendered animal will be treated with compassion, dignity, and respect. We ensure they receive proper veterinary care, loving foster or sanctuary placement, and are matched with safe, committed forever homes. We honor the bond you share and promise to provide the same love and care you would—because they’re not just pets, they’re family.

Our team consists of experienced and knowledgeable pet professionals who are passionate about providing the best care possible for our rescued pets. We treat every pet as if they were our own.
How you help our rescues
At Whimsical Whiskers CatFae, we understand the importance of pets in our lives. That's why we started this CatFae & Rescue, to provide the best services to our animals as possible and to find them their loving furrever homes.
While we do not require appointments at this time, there is a cover charge to enter our cat lounge.
This cost helps cover vetting, housing, and feeding our residents.
Entering Our Cat Lounge
Please either be prepared to sign when you arrive or you may fill out the google form and submit before arriving. Each person entering will be required to have a signed waiver before entering our cat lounge.
Please have a photo ID with you at the time of your visit.
As part of our commitment to keeping our residents safe, we do hold an ID while you are enjoying your time in our cat lounge.
Cat Lounge Entry Fees
Entry fees are as follows:

$10 per person, per half hour
Families (up to 5 people from the same household) with children under 18 years old: $30 per family, per half-hour
Senior Entry (65+) $7.00 PLUS your choice of a free coffee or tea!
Teen Group Entry (Up to 4) $30
Monthly Memberships (Single $40 & Family $60)
*Family rate is not a group rate for large adult groups*

While we are unable to offer refunds, should something happen and you can not stay, we can offer you a gift certificate for your unused time!

A lot of rescues will offer to pay for food and vetting if you're willing to give a safe space for the animal in the meantime. It is also easier to find help with a TNR program if you are willing to help trap or transport.
